Exciting news! A dedicated member of our troop will soon be leading an Eagle Scout service project at Gulf Branch Nature Center. We'll be refurbishing three Adirondack style chairs, sanding and staining them to their former glory, while also assembling and staining two bench kits for outdoor enjoyment. We have all the tools that are needed for the project, however, we will need a second wheelbarrow to transfer mulch back and forth from the mulch pile to the garden. If you have a wheelbarrow we could borrow, please bring it with you. Additionally, we'll be rolling up our sleeves to mulch and weed the garden at the local nature center, helping to maintain its natural beauty for all visitors to enjoy. Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping adventure from April 12th to 14th, 2024, as we head to Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania! Our Scouts will navigate the thrilling rapids as we go rafting on the Youghiogheny River, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. But that's not all – we'll also explore the rugged terrain on mountain bikes, pedaling through scenic trails. It's a weekend of water, wheels, and pure outdoor excitement. Join us for this action-packed journey in Ohiopyle, where we'll make waves on the river and conquer the trails on our bikes!
